About Me

I’m a personal development, connection-focused, life-long computer geek/nerd living life in the Pacific Northwest. My home time is spent with my awesome wife and amazing kids.  My two daughters and step-son each make me proud everyday as they grow and learn.

Other interests include dancing Argentine Tango (instructor) or researching subjects such as human potential, hypnotherapy, cryptography, machine learning, programming languages, and how people connect deeply with each other.

Back in 1979 computers and systems thinking lodged in my brain never to let go.  My career was a mix of flight instruction, flying paying passengers out to the San Juan Islands, and working with business systems.  At the time system administration and database work helped pay for my flying habit/career.

When my first daughter was born in 1998 I decided to hang up my flight suit to stay close to my growing family. Daughter number two was only a few short years away! I decided I didn’t want to live out of a suit case while the girls were growing up.

The next step in my professional path led to working in health care both for an insurance company and then a clinic. In both companies I was involved in analytics both as an analyst and a database administrator which gave me the opportunity to hone my data sculpting talents. Eventually, the entrepreneurial bug bit.  I found myself with a new boss (me!) providing consulting services to local clients.

These days I am providing data and business analysis for medical clinics.
